A lovely stay with a spacious room featuring a kitchenette. The decor was charming and the location was truly unbeatable, with easy access to restaurants and attractions. Be mindful of the church bells and the limited parking options, though. The shower area was a highlight, complete with towel heating racks for drying swimwear.

It was just a nice choice for a short stayover in Reykjavik with decent value for money. The young man at the front desk was super helpful in finding local restaurants we liked. Look for parking outside the busy main area. it’s cheaper than the nearby paid zones.

The complimentary ear plugs were a lifesaver due to the church bells ringing frequently across the street. A delightful stay overall, with a particularly tasty breakfast highlighted by smoked salmon.

Had an awesome time celebrating with friends! We explored the inauguration of the Icelandic president and visited the Parliament setting. The kitchenette was super handy for midnight snacks. Staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. Just a heads up, pack earplugs. it can get noisy at night.

I found the noise levels a bit high due to the central location. While it didn’t ruin my stay, it was noticeable at times.

i loved staying at kvosin downtown! the location is perfect, with great restaurants nearby and all the main sights within walking distance. our bigger room was spacious for three, and it was nice having separate toilet and bathroom facilities. breakfast was tasty too, especially the fresh fruit!
